Sebanyak 24 anggota Wanita Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) cabang Penampang dekat sini hari ini mengisytiharkan keluar parti.
Sungguhpun tidak mengumumkan sebarang alasan berhubung tindakan itu, Ketua Wanita PKR Penampang, Winnie Juani yang mengetuai sebahagian wanita itu berkata beliau mempunyai alasan tersendiri dan meletak kesemua jawatan dalam parti berkuat kuasa 27 Januari lepas.
"Saya memutuskan untuk keluar parti atas keputusan peribadi. Tiada parti, tiada alasan dan tiada komen buat masa ini. Saya belum buat keputusan untuk sertai mana-mana parti. Kami akan umum apabila pilihan raya nanti," katanya pada sidang akhbar di sini hari ini.
Winnie yang pernah dilantik Pengarah Pilihan Raya Negeri Sabah berkata, beliau komited kepada perjuangan parti selama berkhidmat sejak 2007 tetapi menolak untuk disenaraikan sebagai calon pada Pilihan Raya Umum ke-13 akan datang.
Winnie berkata beliau mengambil keputusan itu juga bagi menumpukan perhatian kepada keluarga.
